How much flooring do I need?
Calculate your room's area (length × width), then add a waste buffer — 10% for hardwood and laminate, 5% for vinyl plank and carpet. A 20 m² room with laminate needs about 22 m² of material after waste.
How much extra flooring should I buy for waste?
5-10% covers a standard straight layout. Increase to 15-20% for diagonal installations, herringbone patterns, small rooms with lots of cuts, or if you're new to installing flooring and expect some mistakes.
How many boxes of flooring do I need?
